USB-6000 + NIDAQmx+ detect switch

Hello,

I would like to recognize via a DI and a DO channel, if a contact is switched or not.

For this I want to set the DO channel high (+ 5V)and wire this to the DI channel via a switch.Then I read out the status on the DI.

I use a DAQ USB-6000 for this and the nicaiu.dll.I allready managed to read out a logical value on the DI channel.But I can't get a high signal at the DO port.
