CRIO 9038 how can i replace ni 9403 with ni 9326

I am writing to ask about the compatibility of two NI modules with different types of speed sensors. I have two CRIO 9038 systems, each running a different application. One of them has an NI 9403 module, which works only with 3-pin hall effect sensors. However, I need to use a 2-pin variable reluctance sensor, which is compatible with the NI 9326 module. The other CRIO 9038 system has an NI 9326 module, which works with both types of sensors.

Can I swap the NI 9403 module with the NI 9326 module without affecting the functionality of the applications? If so, what are the steps to do so? If not, what are the alternatives?
