We produce a test rack where the PC has historically been fitted with a PCI-DIO96 card and recently we have replaced this with the more modern PCIe6509 card as the DIO-96 is no longer produced.
We run exactly the same test software, and we expect the newer PCIe card fitted should behave the same way as the DIO96 card. However after about 12 hours it comes to a halt with an error message:
Access violation (0xC000005) at EIP=0x18C80DD4
NI Trace was run and after the 12 or so hours, it showed similar stoppage messages for example:
DAQRead1Chan1SampU32Port
Status code = 4294916944 = 0xFFFF3B50
We use Labview 2020 and DAQmx 20.1
Is there any difference in how the DIO should be used or setup between the two cards? For example we do switch some ports between being inputs and outputs, but we just use the ports for straighforward DIO. I attach some of our VIs as screenshots.
Any help appreciated,
Stephen
